Scholarships
Jane Henry Scholarship
- for Female Athletes
This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding Pacific Northwest Division female ski racer for college education in memory of Jane Henry. Jane Henry was an 18-year-old competitive alpine Mission Ridge racer who died on March 22, 1979 in a pre-race training run. A true lover of skiing and the outdoors, we shall remember Jane and her spirit for eternity. Please submit:
1/ a personal letter describing yourself and future goals.
2/ letters of recommendation from your PNW club coach and Program Director
3/ current school transcript
4/ one personal letter of recommendation
5/ photos (a/ headshot - includes head and shoulders b/outdoor skiing) - to be used for promotional purposes); not a selfie.

R. Dean Palmer Scholarship
- for Male Athletes
This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding Pacific Northwest Division male ski racer for college education in memory of Dean Palmer. Dean Palmer was an avid supporter of ski racing, a former Pacific Northwest Ski Education Foundation President and Headmaster of Overlake School in Redmond, WA. Beloved by all, Dean's legacy in sports and commitment to youth and their athletic endeavors is how we honor him. Please submit:
1/ a personal letter describing yourself and future goals.
2/ letters of recommendation from your PNW club coach and Program Director
3/ current school transcript
4/ one personal letter of recommendation
5/photos (a/ headshot - includes head and shoulders b/outdoor skiing) - to be used for promotional purposes); not a selfie.

Bruce W. Holyoke Scholarship
- for Pacific Northwest Divisional Coaches
This scholarship is awarded to a coach for his/her continued education and may be used for college tuition or for registration cost to attend coaching clinics. The scholarship is named in memory of Bruce W. Holyoke who was an Alpental ski racer.
Include:
1/ a personal letter describing yourself and your professional goals including your training/educational request.
2/ photo (headshot -includes head and shoulders -to be used for promotional purposes); not a selfie.
